ISANA NZ has received funding to implement a programme comprising several projects from March to December 2018, including the provision of professional development workshops complemented by webinars, communities of learning, mentoring opportunities, communities of best practice, community engagement training programmes, resource hubs and commissioned research.
We are looking for a project coordinator with excellent project management skills to oversee the planning, implementation and tracking of ISANA NZ’s project funded by the International Student Wellbeing Strategy. The successful applicant needs to demonstrate a strong understanding of the New Zealand education sector and international education, excellent communication skills, the ability to work independently and cooperatively and exhibit excellent time management skills. The base remuneration for carrying out project management is between $35,000 - $40,000 plus GST. However, there are further opportunities to contribute to specific aspects of various projects with further remuneration available by negotiation. The successful applicant will be an independent self-employed contractor and will be contracted to act as the International Student Wellbeing Strategy Project Coordinator for ISANA NZ and will be responsible to allocate their own hours to get the project done within those hours, according to the contracted price/remuneration. The contractor will be responsible for payment of all their personal taxes payable to the Inland Revenue Department.
